HOPE went undercover...

...to nail Jude St. Clair!

While working on assignment undercover at the Blue Moon, Hope learned there were extra-curricular activities going on besides drug dealing.  She discovered certain nights when strippers performed to entertain the most elite clients of Jude's.  To get the goods on Jude, Hope decided she would have to strip.  Bo was livid when he found out her plans and Hope accused him of being jealous.  As Hope got on stage in the spotlight to do her striptease, Bo arrived and started a brawl that caused the club to be cleared.  Later, it was revealed that Peter Blake, Jennifer's new fiance, was Jude's boss and the man behind the Blue Moon's illegal activities.

Meanwhile, many Salemites were headed to the mysterious town of Aremid.  It was where Peter and Kristen Blake grew up and the site of Peter's upcoming wedding to Jennifer.  The mention of the place evoked fear in Celeste, who didn't want the secrets of Aremid to be revealed.  She plotted to keep everyone away by making anonymous calls to Jennifer warning her to stay away from Aremid, as well as paying off the printer of Jen and Peter's wedding announcements to exclude the locale.  Jack, still in love with Jen, believed the secrets hidden there would help him prove that Peter was corrupt and lead Jennifer back to him.

As Hope prepared to leave for Aremid, Jude cornered her and told her he expected a private strip show when she returned from her cousin's wedding.  He attempted to kiss her, but Peter phoned with a job for Jude, which allowed Hope to escape his clutches.  When Bo heard the news, he was furious at Jude.  Hope calmed him down and told her ex goodbye.  Bo wasn't going to the wedding in Aremid so he could stay in Salem and keep an eye on Jude.  Later though, Bo headed to Aremid after all when informants revealed that Jude was leaving Salem and his destination was not far from Aremid.  Bo worried that Jude was going after Hope and wanted to be close to her for her safety.

BO worried that HOPE...

...would find danger in Aremid!

Bo's suspicions about Jude were right on target as Jude arrived in Aremid and began to spy on Hope.  Peter ordered him to leave, but Jude had other plans.  He had become obsessed with Hope and wanted her for himself.  Meanwhile, Bo and Hope realized they still loved each other, but their stubborness prevented them from reconciling.  That was until they took a family outing with Shawn-Douglas into the mountains around Aremid.  While there, Bo finally confessed his love for Hope and the couple reunited.  But tragedy loomed on the horizon when, during their ski trip, Hope was caught in an avalanche and separated from Bo.  A ranger told Bo there was no chance Hope survived and she was declared legally dead, once again.

Unbeknowst to Bo and her family, Hope survived the avalanche and was rescued by Jude.  He decided that since everyone believed her to be dead, he would keep her as his prisoner and make her love him.  Hope was delirious with a fever after being buried in the snow and was unable to get away from Jude, who nursed her back to health.  As Hope spent her time recuperating in Jude's care, Bo and Shawn-Douglas returned to Salem and held a memorial service for her.

Rest In Peace, again...

...HOPE WILLIAMS BRADY!

Bo Brady speaks at Hope's memorial service:

"I finally agreed to a memorial service for Hope.  I still can't believe that she's gone.  To be so close to having her back and then to have her taken away again...the pain is almost unbearable.  The first time I lost her was hard enough, but this time, this time is much worse.  I should have been there for her.  If I'd just told her that I loved her sooner, we might not have gone up on that mountain to ski, or at least we would have been there together and I could have been with her when she died.  Now, I've lost her forever and I'll never be able to forgive myself."
